¡Hola!

 

My name is Kristy Fitzgerald and I am your child's Spanish teacher. I am currently in my 7th year of teaching. Three years were spent teaching high school Spanish in Texas and three teaching high school here at KIS.

 

My bachelors degree is from the University of Oklahoma and I hold a teaching certificate from the state of Texas for grades EC-6 and Spanish 6-12.

 

I consider myself Mexican eventhough I was born in the U.S. My mother is from Mexico and I was raised in a Spanish/English dual-language household.

 

As mentioned earlier, Korea is my "home" and I share it with my husband and son. I enjoy visiting new places and learning new languages. Reading and cooking are my favorite hobbies.
